Here are some pics from just south of Council Grove, KS looking north along highway 177.  It was really hard to tell if this was rotating i will look over the pics when we get home.

What a day! Boy do I have some stories to tell on our show Wednesday! Nearly took a direct hit from the tornado that took out Yazoo City, MS. Got sideways on a dirt road nearly missing a tree and a retaining wall. Do not forget 9 PM Central. Should have some video and pictures ready for the show by then of this three day event.

NO Tornadoes!

Well the highlight of the chase was a rotating wall cloud / maybe a funnel. NWS Omaha called us and asked us of the lowering was rotating and being low light it was hard to see but it appeared so at the time. Now looking back over the photos and video it was rotating quite rapidly if the storm could have held on we would have likely seen a touchdown. Thanks everyone for watching The Storm Patrol.

600 Miles Tornado Outbreak! We saw four tornadoes today six miles west of Friend, KS. It as amazing day tomorrow looks good also. The SPC has 32 tornadoes many of them where multiple reports so the number will likely drop.
